Art Quilt all hand sewn, layered with a strips of African fabric pieces, quilted on top of muslin cloth, needled cotton batting and African Kente’ bottom/border. Embellished with embroidered pieces depicting African women at work upcycled from gift given to me by Malawian friend in Zimbabwe in 2000. Quilted with a mix of Earth-toned embroidery thread.
